Agreement to these terms
This website, sterilux.bio (the “Site”), is operated by NRG and Power Technologies Canada Inc. (“NRG”, “we”, “us”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Information only
The Site describes Sterilux technologies and licensing opportunities for general information. Nothing on the Site is an offer to sell or license any product or technology. Any license, supply or other commercial arrangement is governed solely by a separate written agreement signed by the parties.
Performance information
Performance results described on the Site come from specific test conditions. Actual results vary with layout, light intensity, exposure time, distance, surface type and environment. Sterilux technologies are intended to supplement, not replace, regular cleaning, disinfection and maintenance practices. Nothing on the Site is medical advice or a claim that any product prevents, treats or cures disease.
Ultraviolet-C (UVC) equipment must be installed, operated and maintained only according to its instructions and applicable safety standards. Do not expose people or animals to direct UVC light unless the product’s documentation specifically permits it.
Intellectual property
The Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos and images, are owned by NRG or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent and other laws. Sterilux and related names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners. You may view and print pages for your own internal business use. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from the Site’s content without our written permission. Using the Site does not grant you any license to any patent, trademark or other intellectual property.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Site unlawfully; not to interfere with its operation or security; not to attempt unauthorized access to any part of it; and not to use automated means to collect its content without our permission.
Information you send us
Information you send through the Site is handled according to our Privacy Policy. Unless a signed confidentiality agreement says otherwise, messages and materials you send us are not treated as confidential, and you should not send confidential or proprietary information through the contact form.
Third-party links
The Site may link to websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
Disclaimer
The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We may change or remove content at any time without notice.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NRG and its affiliates, licensors and licensees will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or business, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its content.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NRG and its affiliates from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site or your breach of these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. You agree that the courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to the Site.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
